Other notes:

3.  Women's wrestling has a record number of USAW memberships. We are closing in on 22,000 up from a previous best of just over 19,000.

My Brags:

Keith Massey and Michael Doyle both held Wrestling Leader Clinics on March 12th and March 27th respectively.  We've hosted about 75 participants in total. Thank you to all involved.

Charlotte Bailey has been named the Northern Plains Rep for the Women's Age Group Council. Charlotte was nominated by Fred Franklin, Nebraska State Chair. Congratulations once again!

Here is a note from a tournament host: this brag is for our entire membership that has stepped up to help out!

Great turn out.  Not sure what the organization is doing to encourage this but, as a tournament host, I love it!! Several of the workers contacted me beforehand that they were coming also.  We were able to have 3 officials per mat and it ran smoothly.  Most efficient tournament we have had in the last 30 years.

Keep up the great work.

We have lots of happenings coming up fast: local tournaments, Vegas, State, Regionals etc. Our next general meeting will be on Saturday, May 7th at SEP High School in multi-purpose room S-140 at the conclusion of the days tournament (boys freestyle.)

Best regards,

Jason Christenson
