Iowa USA Wrestling

Iowa/USA Wrestling held their annual awards banquet along with their Board of Directors elections on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at the Days Inn in Cedar Falls. Terry Brands a 2000 Olympic Bronze Medalist and current Coach at the University of Iowa was the keynote speaker for the evening.  Along with honoring this year's All American's and age division Wrestlers of the Year a special presentation was made to Mike, Scott and Pat the sons of Iowa Wrestling icon, Mick Pickford. Pickford was the founder of what is now Iowa/USA Wrestling and served as the State Chairman along with being instrumental in the development of wrestling in the state of Iowa.
